Make-up
Covering and concealing
In liquid or compact form, the purpose of make-up is to cover imperfections, to give an even tone and shine to the skin. There are formulas that meet the needs of every skin type, from dry to oily, from acne-prone to sensitive skin.
Dry skin Prefer a moisturizing make-up in a thin liquid texture so that it spreads comfortably and does not "pull".
Normal skin Choose a thin liquid make-up that adapts to the color and texture of the skin, so that it looks completely natural.
Oily skin A make-up with powder particles will give a matte effect and help you fight the shine.
Skin with acne Try a thick super-covering make-up, but with a composition that doesn't close pores and doesn't cause blackheads.
Color chart You should choose the make-up carefully and try it on your face in natural lighting. Vita lists some basic principles and helps you choose the make-up that suits you.
● Red-based shades suit pink-beige complexions.
● Shades based on yellow suit beige skins that do not redden.
● Orange-based shades suit red-yellow complexions.
Rouge
for cheek apricot
It makes the face look healthy and bright and brings the make-up to life. The cream blush is spread with the fingers, in circular motions, and creates a more natural effect. If you choose powder blush, it would be a good idea to invest in a very good brush, as the ones that come in the packaging are often not ideal.
How are you going to spread it?
● Swipe the brush over the product and blow to remove excess.
● Apply the blush over the cheeks, with upward movements towards the ears. As you move towards the temples, the blush should fade and blend into the skin.
● If you think the effect is too much, apply a transparent powder on top.
Pay attention You should not apply the blush too close to the eyes, but leave at least two fingers away. Also, for a more harmonious result, the shade of your lipstick should belong to the same color palette as the blush – for example, don't combine red lipstick with brown blush.
Color chart The shade of the blush should look natural on you, so the lighter your skin tone, the lighter the shade it should be. Look for pastel colors like pink or salmon if you have fair skin and deep shades like soft plum or brown-red if you have dark skin.
Play with colors!
In compact form, liquid or powder, matte, metallic or with iridescent elements, in all sorts of shades and colors, the eyeshadows give you a variety that predisposes you to play with them. Like all games, however, this one also has its "rules".
● The earthy shades it is a discreet and elegant choice, suitable for all times.
● Shades of purple and grey they are stunning on blue and green eyes.
● The bronze shades they suit girls with blonde and brown hair.
● The pastel colors they "bind" perfectly with fair skin.
● The intense, "tropical" shades, e.g. orange, turquoise, "write" better on very dark skin.
● The white shadow it brightens the look, but should be applied sparingly (only in the inner corner of the eye and under the arch of the eyebrows).
● The metallic shades they make the eyes look more alive.
● The very dark ones, iridescent and metallic shades are best reserved for evening looks only.
● The black it gives intensity to the look, but at the same time hardens the face.
Mascara
For unique eyes
Mascara not only emphasizes, but turns the eyes into the "protagonists" of the makeup, giving intensity and femininity to the look. Depending on its brush, each mascara can add length, volume or both to your lashes. To avoid "knots" and stuck lashes, first apply a coat of mascara to the lids of one eye and continue with the other, so that the first coat has time to dry before reapplying.
Lips
The final… touch!
From provocative red to subtle pink, from neutral brown to stunning fuchsia, the bright glosses and lipsticks give the lips the "kiss of life". The variety is really great and you can choose the right one, depending on the result you want.
● Transparent lipstick They give a soft color and create a wet effect.
● Glossy lipstick/gloss They contain iridescent elements that reflect light and give a brilliant color with an impressive shine.
● Lip gloss They combine the brightness of a glossy lipstick and the liquid look of a transparent. The thicker and stickier their composition, the longer they last.
● Permanent lipstick For "full" and impressive lips. It is usually in a double package that, in addition to the lipstick, also includes a top coat (transparent color stabilizer, in the form of gloss or balm) that covers the color, keeps it stable and moisturizes the lips.
Color chart On fair skins, pastel and pink shades are suitable for morning looks, while red, bright fuchsia and peach are ideal for the evening. › On wheatish complexions, earth tones are ideal, from the softest browns to deep brown-reds. › If you have dark skin, warm colors suit you, such as orange and shades of red. › For more "discreet" looks, go soft
