Nothing better than natural...natural pools are a dream!

It is a fact that in most swimming pools we encounter a contradiction. Natural pools dream!

On the one hand, they are constructed in such a way to resemble the sea, lakes and oceans and being "traveled" back to nature, on the other hand this "virgin" element is nullified by the chemicals used to protect against germs. This contradiction tends to disappear, however, as so-called "natural" pools have appeared and are gaining ground.

Natural pools dream!

In the context of the great "green" movement of the time, in many regions - mainly in Northern Europe and the USA - some mini-lakes have started to become popular that resemble swimming pools but at the same time manage to maintain their natural element, as they do not use any artificial or chemical means to destroy the micro-organisms growing in them. They are chlorine-free, they balance water chemistry and maintain clean, clear and healthy conditions.

In essence, what is mainly sought with their creation, is in some way an "imitation" of nature, with the use of aquatic plants, mini-waterfalls and suitable materials, which compose the setting of an impressive and extremely clean lake, in which however the 'good' micro-organisms are more powerful than the 'bad' ones.

And most important of all? In most of these pools, the water is drinkable! Something you don't find in the sea, of course, and not in traditional swimming pools that are full of chlorine and other chemicals. Describing these natural reservoirs, experts say that instead of creating a disgusting nature in which everything is dead, they create natural healthy water that protects itself.

 SWIM NATURALLY

Natural pools offer a completely natural alternative to chemical or salted ponds. They are chemical-free and self-cleaning mini-environments, relying on the vegetation of their various "regeneration" zones or sea gardens and bridges to filter out dirt and bacteria from the swimming area. The water is channeled and circulated through pumps in the regeneration zones, as well as between stones or small gravel, which act as additional filters, where "good" bacteria can grow. In other words, these pools use a whole system of natural aquatic plants, filters and organisms to clean and regenerate the water we swim in. A shallow 'natural' regeneration section is kept separate from the swimming area, and there is an option to heat the water up to 28 degrees Celsius.

In addition, depending on the landscape and the amount of water, natural pools do not cost much more than traditional ones. While construction costs are almost the same as traditional ponds, maintenance costs are less.
