What is recommended before treatment:
One week before the application of Hyaluronic Acid it is important to avoid the use of Aspirin, Anti-Inflammatory and Anticoagulant drugs to minimize the possible creation of ecchymosis (bruising) at the injection sites. For the same reason, it is also recommended up to two days before, to avoid the consumption of Alcohol.
During treatment:
The Hyaluronic Acid we use contains Lidocaine (local anesthetic) and the area to be applied is prepared using an anesthetic cream. Thus a painless treatment is achieved.
What is recommended after treatment:
After Hyaluronic Acid treatment, there may be minor discomfort, swelling and redness which subsides the next day.
It should be avoided:
-Exposure to intense cold and intense heat (e.g. Sauna, steam baths, and UV radiation) for the next 7 days
- Alcohol consumption up to 48 hours after the treatment
-Exercise for the next 7 days
-The contact on the lips for 24 hours after their treatment with Hyaluronic Acid
