Oily skin: How to avoid the "shininess" on the face from the heat

No woman likes to get ready as best she can to go out and after a while her face looks shiny and very oily. And with the temperature soaring again this summer, the problem is very common for all women.
Pores naturally secrete olive to moisturize your oily skin, but when these are mixed with your makeup, then the end result is shine on the face.
Is this effect of summer heat and humidity on the skin of the face inevitable? The answer is no!
Here are some smart ways to avoid this problem on hot days:

Cleaning

Make sure you clean your face properly in the morning. If you don't have a cleanser with at least 2% salicylic acid and you have oily skin, you should buy one. Salicylic acid will break down the oil in the skin without drying out your face. Also, wash your hands before washing your face to avoid transferring oils from your fingers onto your skin.

Alcohol

Add a very, very small amount of rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball and run it over the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin). This will help remove shine, but do it sparingly to avoid drying out your skin.

Be careful what you eat

Avoid cocktails and spicy foods. They dilate the blood vessels and make you sweat. Limit yourself to one drink a night and don't eat very spicy foods more than once a week. Also, eat more carrots, cantaloupe and spinach. These foods are rich in vitamin A and reduce oil production on the face. Of course, also stay away from fatty foods as much as possible.

Limit face creams in summer
Don't put too much night cream every night. Instead, choose a light lotion that your skin will absorb easily and completely. You can also try a nice hydrating serum to “brighten” your skin without making it shiny.
