Aesthetic Facial Acupuncture, with Ilaira Buratinou
Acupuncture is a method that is increasingly used to improve the appearance of the skin, reduce wrinkles and tone the facial muscles. It stimulates blood circulation, promotes cell renewal and increases collagen production. Thus, the epidermis gradually becomes denser and more resistant and consequently less susceptible to environmental attacks that cause aging. This method contrasts with other ways of smoothing wrinkles that exfoliate the skin making it thinner and more sensitive. The technique is almost painless.
The purpose of this unique seminar is to offer health professionals and beauticians some of the most important techniques that the combination of traditional and modern points of view in acupuncture has to offer for immediate results in the field of aesthetics.
The seminar is conducted in two parts. The main acupuncture material is presented on the first day (Saturday) and can be attended without on the second day (Sunday) where additional practice is done and specialized massage techniques are taught for immediate lifting in combination with acupuncture (Instant Face Lift Massage). The seminar mainly consists of practical application.
The material of the seminar is based on Ilaira Mpouratinou's long experience in the application and teaching of these techniques.
The seminar includes:
• Action mechanisms of acupuncture in aesthetics and similar techniques
• The different types of needles and their use according to skin type
• Practice two main acupuncture techniques
• Insertion of very small needles into wrinkles for collagen production (intradermal & subcutaneous)
• Natural “Botox”, key points that help reduce muscle contractions (intramuscular injection)
• Main acupuncture points on the face
• Use of hyaluronic acid along with acupuncture
• Acupressure and the use of magnets as an alternative to acupuncture
After the acupuncture, the Instant Face Lift Massage is applied, which combines special massages and manipulations for an immediate facelift with the use of suction cups.
The seminar is held over a full-day weekend session on the following dates:
