3D Blepharoplasty

3D Blepharoplasty

The eyelids and the area around the eyes are early signs of aging on the human face.
After the age of 30 the changes that appear gradually are the progressive loss of volume (fat) in the area of the upper and lower eyelids, essentially in the entire periorbital area. The face begins to lose its youthful appearance and the tired, sad look is a fact. At the same time, there is an excess of skin on the upper eyelid (dermatachalasia), as well as the projection of fat in the upper outer corner of each upper eyelid.
All these progressive changes in the eye area are the main feature of the incipient aging of the human face, which are accompanied by other changes in the central and peripheral oval of the face as well as the neck.
3D blepharoplasty gives a youthful and rested look, as it restores lost volume in the periorbital area and excess skin on the upper and lower eyelids. The restoration of the lost volume is done by liposuction (fat transfer) from other parts of the body. This operation, in contrast to classic blepharoplasty, has the great advantage that it not only restores the sagging of the skin, but mainly the loss of volume around the eyes. This has the effect of lifting the eyebrows and the middle face. As far as the lower eyelids are concerned, the No cut-No touch technique is applied, where the incision is made through the eyes, with the result that there is no trace of incision on the outer surface of the lower eyelid. The great advantage of this method is that it does not cause any alteration in the shape of the eyes, like the classic blepharoplasty technique. The operation of 3D (3 dimension) blepharoplasty causes a holistic approach to the area around the eyes, which causes a regeneration of the whole face, which is evident from the very first day.
Anesthesia: Usually intoxication or general anesthesia.
