Do you know the difference between laser hair removal and IPL pulsed light?
Laser hair removal is often confused with hair removal with the so-called pulse light (IPL=Intense Pulse Light or otherwise photolysis). IPL (pulsed light-photolysis) machines are not lasers and do not have a single wavelength, but a multi-colored spectrum of radiation. This means that these machines lack specific selectivity, since their light is not only absorbed by melanin.
With IPL or photo hair removal, in general, numerous and more frequent sessions are needed compared to lasers, while at the same time the possibility of side effects increases.
