The award-winning, specialist plastic surgeon, Dr. Spyros P. Georgopoulos, for the last decade she has been working and at the same time active continuously, both in her field research, as well as her development of plastic surgery. With its constant goal of pioneering and providing high-level medical services, it invests in continuous education and is updated on every new trend and technique.

He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive breast and facial surgery, microsurgery, fat injection procedures, and tissue enhancement through stem cells. Dr. Georgopoulos graduated from Medical School of the University of Athens in 2003 and completed with excellently his Doctoral Dissertation in the field of microsurgery, also at the School of Medicine of the University of Athens. He obtained the title of medical specialty at the Athens Cancer Hospital "Agios Savvas» and at the same time, he trained in Plastic Surgery centers in Germany, in England, in Turkey and on USA., where he gained valuable knowledge and international experience in new techniques.

With the aim of pioneering, both in Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery, he further continued his education, in Greece and abroad and in recognized institutions, such as Royal College of Surgeons of England and Breast Center of Miami at USA. Thanks to the range of seminars he has attended and his continuous training over the last decade, he is now able to use new and innovative methods of microsurgery in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

As a graduate of Greek School of Mammology, has excellent expertise in the field of oncology, as well as in breast reconstruction after mastectomy. At the same time, it is considered extremely experienced in the treatment of burns, in the removal of skin tumors and melanomas, as well as in the restoration of nerves and other tissues, in face and body. In his effort to always be at the forefront of developments and the aesthetic part of plastic surgery, he specialized in the emerging field of treatments with autologous fat and stem cells, which can ensure everyone a youthful and at the same time natural appearance.

He has participated, as keynote speaker in international conferences, while in 2011 at the 9th Panhellenic Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, he was awarded the 1st Prize "Georgios Polykratis". He was awarded for his original experimental research in the field of microsurgery (which was part of his PhD Dissertation) entitled: “THE ROLE OF ANTIOXIDANT VITAMIN C AND HISTAMINE RECEPTOR BLOCKERS HYDROXYZINE AND CIMETIDINE IN ISCHEMIA SYNDROME OF REBLOODING IN SKIN TENDONS IN THE EPIMY”.
