Farmona Natural Cosmetics Laboratory was founded in 1997 in Krakow, Poland, and the Company's philosophy is based on the combination of the newest achievements of cosmetology and the nutritional power of natural plant ingredients. Our products soon won the recognition of consumers who appreciate the value of innovations, high quality and efficiency of natural cosmetics. Farmona's current collection includes over 450 body, face and hair care products. In recent years, the company has expanded into professional cosmetology and Wellness & Spa products.
In 2007, the Farmona company launched a new face of its operation on the market as the Farmona Hotel Business & SPA in Krakow, providing facilities for training and meetings of Cosmetologists and Estheticians as well as a 200 m2 Wellness & SPA area. The comfortable and warm hotel for 60 guests, with an oriental touch, is the ideal place for those who appreciate the refined and simple interiors, the discreet care of the staff and the interest in the uniqueness of each moment. The key to success for the Farmona Natural Cosmetics Laboratory Company lies in the corporate vision of development, professional management, soundness and solvency.
At the beginning of 2012 Farmona – as the first Polish cosmetics company – started implementing GMP standards that ensure the high quality, purity of raw materials and ingredients used in the final finishing of the product.
In mid-2012, Farmona Natural Cosmetics Laboratory Company was granted certification no. 22716:2007. This certification is a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standard in the field of cosmetics manufacturing. It provides guidelines for the production, supervision, storage and transport of cosmetics as well as the storage of finished products. It also sets out the detailed requirements regarding staff. It ensures that the final product that reaches our customers is of high quality – from the procurement of raw materials to its final placement on a store shelf.
Farmona is one of the first cosmetics companies in Poland certified according to ISO 22716, which means that we have set new quality standards in motion. From 11 July 2013, all other companies are obliged to apply the principles of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standard according to Regulation (EC) 1223/2009/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products. The benefits arising from the implementation of GMP include improved management, decision-making system, organization of the internal structure, increased productivity, improved image and solvency among partners.
