Candia was founded in 1973 by Charalambos and Emmanuel Velivasakis. In a short time, with faith in the value of good sleep, obsession with quality and love for nature, they managed to expand their activity. The combination of experience, technological excellence, as well as the implementation of reliable and quality products, results in our rapid growth and presence with 100 stores in Greece and abroad. In particular, the entry into foreign markets was realized with the innovative category of handmade Bodyfix mattresses, which are made from 100% natural materials and exclusively by hand. Today, Candia has a presence in 10 countries, in Europe and Asia, with a total of 27 stores.

MATERIALS
At Candia we have chosen raw materials that provide the right support for the spine, but at the same time the comfort needed so that there is no pressure on the shoulders or hips. With respect, knowledge and experience we choose the best materials, 100% of course, and careful raw materials, to create a unique sleeping experience. All the materials we use have been properly processed to meet the hygiene criteria of a mattress.

All Candia sleep products are produced to the highest quality and guaranteed by the ISO 9001 control system, as well as ISO 14001 environmental management certification.
We also use fabrics that are certified according to OEKO-TECH STANDARD 100 which is a globally uniform, independent control and certification system for fabrics.
