With the heat, you feel it are your feet swollen and heavy? What is it and what can you do?
Most people are likely to notice that their feet swell when it's hot.
When the ambient temperature is increased, the body activates its thermoregulatory mechanisms, to prevent the body temperature from rising and to eliminate excess heat.
Thus, it causes vasodilation to expel heat to the environment from the blood vessels located near the skin. In compensation, the heart increases its rate to maintain a constant blood supply to the tissues and organs.
Legs often swell due to vasodilation.
Feet swell in the summer because blood vessels dilate due to the heat, which changes the mechanism of blood returning from the lower extremities to the heart - a return that occurs through the veins of the legs. The networks, phlebitis and thrombophlebitis.
After a hard and tiring day, our feet can be swollen and heavy and this happens because the fluid balance is disturbed, which "pools" and causes the swelling.
