It is built according to the traditional Astypalite architecture, while its style is completely abstract and modern, with the predominance of uniform spaces and the white element. The Pylaia Boutique Hotel consists of the main building that houses the main hotel facilities (reception, tourist shop, plori gourmet restaurant, conference center, gym) and 5 smaller two-story buildings housing a total of 26 luxurious rooms and suites.
Pylaia Boutique Hotel takes its name from the old nickname of the island of Astypalaia. According to historical records, the locals called the island of Astypalaia "Pylea" because of its morphology, i.e. the many bays that the island has, also known as Pyles.
The Pylaia Boutique Hotel is located in the beautiful picturesque Chora of Astypalaia, just 200 meters from the central square where 9 flour mills dominate and are preserved in an arrangement on the ridge. It is built on a slope and on an area of 2 acres, overlooking the Aegean, and the bays of Aichili, Agios Konstantinos, Papou and Tzanaki. At a distance of only 300 meters is one of the most beautiful and organized beaches of the island, Livadi.
