This way you will protect the child from the sun!

Parents should be extra careful about their children's exposure to the sun. To avoid the unpleasant see what the scientists of the American Cancer Foundation advise for infants and very young children.
Children under 3 should not be exposed to the sun. Special attention is needed up to the age of 12. The skin collects sun from birth, which has long-term consequences.
For babies up to six months!

  • Even in the car, you must put shades on the windows, so that the sun does not directly hit the baby in his car seat.
  • Take the walk with the baby early in the morning, before 10:00, or in the late afternoon, after 17:00, and have the child in a stroller with a protective cover.
  • Dress your baby in light clothing that covers the arms and legs.
  • Babies 6-12 months: From this age onwards it is now safe to use sunscreen to your baby
  • If you use a sunscreen spray, do not put it directly on the baby's face. First put in your hand and with it spread the sunscreen on the child's face.
  • Most important of all, remember to put sunscreen on your child 30 minutes before going outside and reapply at most every two hours, or after swimming, or if they sweat a lot.
Toddlers/Preschoolers: Protecting toddlers from the sun takes a little more thought and effort. It is important to train the child to pay attention on his own.
  • Look for broad-spectrum sunscreens with an SPF of at least 15.
  • Make sure your child has learned to sit in the shade 10am. and 4 p.m. Check the outdoor area where your child plays to make sure there is adequate shade.
  • Make sure toddlers are covered by their clothes. Cotton clothes with long sleeves are cool and comfortable, while also being highly protective.
  • Don't forget hats and sunglasses. Choose a hat with a wide brim that protects the child's face, neck and ears.
