6 massage techniques you must try this summer

Is it nice to have a massage on the sunbeds on the beach in the summer? In an organized spa, hotel or institute is better.
Body massage is not a luxury, as many think, but an alternative form of healing and relaxation and one of the best ways to get rid of tension and stress, relax and boost your stamina and energy. These are the 6 massage techniques you must try to rejuvenate.

6 Massage Techniques You Must Try

1 Tui Na

Tui Na (Tui Na or otherwise Chinese massage) is an ancient Chinese healing art and includes over 100 massage and pressure techniques. Instead of using needles, the therapist presses and massages specific energy points that stimulate and balance the energy channels that flow through the body. Thus regeneration is achieved in the muscle mass, tendons and locks. It has two techniques: 1) Yang which heals the surface of the body and 2) Yin which is ideal for ailments of the internal organs.
Ideal for: Musculoskeletal problems such as pain and stiffness in the neck, shoulders or lower back. Ideal for sciatica and also for headache.

2 Lomi Lomi

An energy massage that has its roots in the Hawaiian Islands. Its philosophy is that the healer (Kahuna) manages the energy of the universe (Mana) which enters him to channel it throughout the recipient's body for healing purposes. Using the forearms, palms and fingers the therapist makes continuous long, rhythmic movements which resemble a wave. Also, different parts of the body are "worked" at the same time and this helps you to relax, since it is impossible for the brain to concentrate on two points at the same time, achieving balance, calmness and harmony. With Lomi Lomi, negative energy is cleansed and removed from the body, the flow of energy, the chakras, is unblocked.
Ideal for: the muscular, circulatory, lymphatic, immune and nervous systems.

3 Ayurvedic

THE Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word, meaning "The science of life" (from ayuh meaning life and veda meaning science). Ayurvedic massage is done on the whole body with warm Ayurvedic herbs olive, emphasizing the marmas points, the areas of the body where arteries, tendons, bones, joints meet.
Ideal for: Relaxation, wellness, health and mental clarity, while problems such as stress, anxiety, insomnia, body aches, headaches and migraines can be treated.

4 Deep tissue massage

Considered one of the most popular types of massage, it relaxes muscles and releases tension from grips and chronic muscle conditions. It is mainly applied to athletes with intense strain and those who do intense physical activity. It is achieved by slow, rhythmic strokes either with the hands or deep finger pressure or with the elbows as it works deep into the muscle tissue by "breaking" and releasing the toxins that accumulate in the muscles. In this way, it increases blood circulation and reduces inflammation that causes pain.
Ideal for: relieving tension and chronic muscle pain.

5 Indian head massage

It is applied with oils to the head, face and scalp, as well as the neck and shoulders. The therapist uses a wide range of pressures and rhythms and the movements are made with the thumb, forefinger, palms and even the forearm.
Ideal for: stress relief, headaches, migraines and musculoskeletal pain, hair loss, antiaging.

6 Watsu

It comes from the combination of the words water and shiatsu and is a combination of hydrotherapy and shiatsu. This technique is practiced in a swimming pool since it is a form of passive hydrotherapy. It uses stretches, spiral movements, swings and pressure on acupuncture points.
Ideal for: reducing stress, improving posture, expanding breathing and fighting insomnia.
