THE Despina – Nelli Tzivaridou was born in Piraeus and graduated from the Ionnideo Standard School.
He studied at the Medical School of the University of Ioannina from 1985-1991 and then specialized in Plastic surgery from 1992 until 2001, the year she received her specialty title Plastic Surgeryin Greece.
In June 1999, she was assigned by the School of Medicine of the University of Athens to prepare a doctoral thesis with an experimental topic in the field of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
In November 2001 she received the title of her specialty Plastic Surgery by the European Boards of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery after successful examinations.
From February 2002 to September 2003 he worked in a salaried position Plastic Surgeon at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, where he had the opportunity to work with leading figures Plastic Surgeons in operations Cosmetic Surgery Face and Body as well as Reconstructive operations for the restoration of the breast and other skin lesions-malignancies.
He has presented 33 scientific papers at conferences, both in Greece and abroad, and received the G. Polykratis award for the best experimental paper in 2001. He has participated in the writing of 5 scientific papers published in international medical journals.
He returned in 2004 from abroad and since then he has been working as a private physician and external partner of the Metropolitan Hospital.
Since 2004, he has been applying the newest laser treatments and is a member of the International Society of Laser Applications.
He is also a member of Hellenic Society of Plastic Surgery her International Society of Plastic Surgery IPRAS.
Despina Tzivaridou is married to ophthalmologist Yiannis Mallias and has three daughters, Vasiliki, Alexia and Michaela.
