BioAroma, a vertically integrated unit around the field of herbs, with its own organic crops, a still for the production-distillation of essential oils as well as a visitable museum and herb garden in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, proceeded after long-term studies of the archaeological evidence of Minoan perfumers but also old recipes of the grandmothers of our island, in the preparation for the first time of 100% herbal handmade cosmetics with raw materials from the natural wealth of Crete such as beeswax, olive oil, diktamo, aladano etc.
Bioaroma uses ancient recipes for the production of its creams and cosmetics. The Minoans, among the first producers of herbal cosmetics worldwide, prepared herbal preparations and perfumes in specially designed spaces, which were the ancestor of today's cosmetic laboratories. In the palace of Archana, near the city of Heraklion, archaeologists found inert materials on vessels that had solidified for thousands of years. After an extensive analysis of these materials, herbs such as Diktamos, the king of Cretan herbs, the rose of the rocks or Aladania, as well as residues of beeswax and olive oil were identified.
The Minoan women beautified themselves with these natural products and were considered among the most beautiful women of the ancient world. Bioaroma trusts the treasures of Greek nature and overturns the rules of modern cosmetology by proceeding to the manufacture of cosmetics without water "Water free Products".
Common commercial cosmetic creams contain 60-70% of water with the result that strong chemical preservatives are required to preserve them which are often allergenic or carcinogenic. On the contrary, our products are concentrated powerful products that last 4 times longer than common creams without any chemical preservatives.
In addition, due to their oily base, the skin layer is naturally lubricated, maintaining constant hydration without blocking the pores and without weighing down the skin.

The idea of setting up an aromatic plant processing plant that would process them and produce cosmetic and therapeutic products was a challenge for me.
