The beautiful nails<\/a> they start from within, nail care and grooming should be our priority, healthy nails above all else. Dermatologists advise:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Apply a cream to moisturize your nails, especially after removing permanent or acrylic polish since they contain more chemicals than a simple nail polish.<\/li>\n
  2. To prevent infection, never cut or push back the cuticles<\/a> If you need to do it, only after your shower or bath with gentle movements.<\/li>\n
  3. While most salons follow strict cleaning and sanitization guidelines, when you visit them, look for the following:
    \n* Does the technician who will take care of you have the necessary license and experience required?
    \n* Is your seat clear?
    \n* The technician washes his hands before taking you over (from the previous customer).
    \n* Tools must be sterile, and used for one client only.
    \n* Also, don't hesitate to ask about anything that gives you a bad impression, e.g. if you don't see the oven for sterilizing tools, ask!<\/li>\n
  4. Shave your legs after the pedicure, not before. Before you get your pedicure, 24 hours must have passed since you shaved your legs. If you cut yourself shaving, a pedicure can put you at risk for infection.<\/li>\n
  5. If you do it often manicure<\/a> and pedicure (at a specific salon) you can enter the process of purchasing the tools used for you.<\/li>\n
  6. Additionally, check that the footbath and filters have been thoroughly disinfected before use. If they are not cleaned properly, you will "host" bacteria and fungi on your feet.<\/li>\n
  7. If you want to wear a bright red or bold color mano, it prevents discoloration by applying an extra layer of base coat if your nails are yellowed and discolored from the polish.<\/li>\n
  8. There is no scientific evidence that dipping nails in gelatin makes them stronger. Polishes that contain strengthening ingredients increase nail stiffness, and cause nails to break more often.<\/li>\n
  9. Don't wear artificial nails to cover up a problem with your nails, as it can make it worse. Artificial nails should be avoided by people who are prone to fungal infections or have brittle nails. For people with healthy nails, artificial nails can be fine but \u201ceverything in moderation\u201d \u2026 not all the time.<\/li>\n
  10. It's good to know what products are used on your nails so that you can avoid some kind of allergy, rash or other reaction.
