Winter, along with the cold, rains and snows, also brings problems for our skin. Dryness, dehydration, redness, irritations\u2026.Winter weather tends to steal some of our glow. Below I give you the most basic tips for perfect skin even at the lowest temperatures.<\/p>\n

Hydrate yourself!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hydration, hydration, hydration. It is the A and Z to keep our skin healthy and glowing, especially now in winter when the dryness becomes more intense. Low temperatures and dry air "dry" our skin, removing the thin oily layer that covers it and removing its natural moisture. That's why it's important to give our skin good hydration and nourishment. This season, therefore, we choose fortified moisturizing products with nutrients to maintain the proper moisture level of the skin. We also don't forget to drink a lot of water to boost hydration from the inside.

\nThe use of sunscreen is also necessary in winter. We must not forget that our skin is exposed to UV radiation all year round. Sunscreen should always be with us if we spend a lot of time outdoors or play sports. Apply it at least 30 minutes before going out so that your skin absorbs it well.<\/p>\n

In winter it is good to avoid cleaning products that create imbalances in the pH of the skin and - consequently - dryness. We choose gentle cleansers that are enhanced with natural softening and moisturizing agents. Also, it is important to regularly do a gentle peeling<\/a> to remove dead cells and help our skin better absorb the nutrients it contains moisturizing<\/a> our cream.<\/p>\n

Eat fruits and vegetables<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our skin reflects our eating habits. That's why it's important to consume plenty fruit and vegetables<\/a> not only in summer but also in winter. Also add to your diet nuts, fish, dairy products and healthy fats that help our body to have more moisture.<\/p>\n

Be careful in the shower<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes, it is delightful and relaxing to feel very hot water when we shower in winter. However, you should know that hot water removes the skin's natural lipids, resulting in a loss of moisture. Try to shower with lukewarm water and not for more than 10 minutes. Use a moisturizer immediately after showering, before the skin is completely dry.<\/p>\n

Don't neglect your hands<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hydration is not only about the face and body but also the limbs. Winter is particularly "hard" on our hands. Protect them with a rich hand cream, applying it at least twice a day. Also, don't forget your gloves - they're a shield against the weather and a must-have accessory for the winter months.
