The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD<\/a>) recently published a list of ten general skin care tips from dermatologists that can benefit many.<\/p>\n

  1. Apply sunscreen<\/a> every day.<\/strong> A quality sunscreen is an important step in daily skin care. It slows down skin aging and helps prevent skin cancer. Sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and preferably waterproof is best.<\/li>\n
  2. Do not smoke.<\/strong> Smoking accelerates skin aging. In addition, research shows that smoking worsens certain skin conditions, such as psoriasis, etc., according to the AAD.<\/li>\n
  3. Check your skin.<\/strong> Because your beautician or dermatologist has a closer picture of your skin, don't neglect your visit. With the advice of your doctor knowing the signs of skin cancer you will be able to do the test at home, prevention and knowledge is what will protect you.<\/li>\n
  4. \u00a0Avoid tanning beds.<\/strong> Use better self-tanner cosmetics. There are many self-tanner cosmetics that will impress you with the result without the risk of skin cancer.<\/li>\n
  5. Use care products that suit your skin's needs.<\/strong> Knowing your skin's needs and using the right products will help it look and feel its best.<\/li>\n

  8. Wash your face gently.<\/strong> It may seem like a simple step, but facial trainers believe it's important in keeping skin looking its best.
    \nWet the skin with warm water, apply a mild cleanser and with circular movements using our fingers we clean our skin and finish with a clean towel without rubbing it, gently touch the towel all over the face.<\/li>\n
  9. Less stress.<\/strong> Some skin diseases that often appear for the first time are due to intense stress. Stress can also cause flare-ups of many skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, etc.<\/li>\n
  10. See a dermatologist if you don't like something about your skin.<\/strong> A dermatologist is always the best thing you can do for you who are suffering from various dermatological problems. The diagnosis and treatment will be prompt, will have a clinical view of your skin, and will be able to help you with anything that appears on your skin.
